Changing bushes and suspension arms is routine work. While arms suffer from general corrosion and ball joint wear it is usually the bushes that fail prematurely needing something more substantial in the form of a replacement.	Front Wishbones
The problem nowadays is Alfas predilection for arms with 'fixed' bushes, a retrograde step as far as DIY ownership is concerned because replacing the whole assembly works out far more costly than the old method of fitting a few new bushes. The good news is improved replacement bushes, made from polyurethane, are now manufactured by Powerflex (www.powerflex.co.uk).
