.The use of car badges emanated from the manufacturers' wish
to have their products readily recognised and identified. The
badge, or trade mark, of Alfa Romeo (90 years old this year)
is taken from Societa Anonima Lombarda Fabrica Automobili, the
last four initials forming the word ALFA.
Our stock of badges is very comprehensive but we are always
adding new stock. For the GT/GTV Bertone 105 series we carry
script boot (trunk) lid badges---1300, 1600, 1750, 2000 and
GTA, also the Alfa Romeo script for the Spider. Not only do
we carry a range of gold & green cloverleaf badges for the
GTV, but also 'f' Farina badges for Spiders---in metal (both
with fixed of separate crown) or the plastic enamel type of
the 2000 Spider.
